God Meets You Where You Are…Here’s What Most Christians Miss

Aug 11, 2025    Julie Schilling

In this video, I share a deeply personal message about how God truly meets us where we are, but also how He calls us to dwell in the place He’s prepared. So many times, we say, “God will meet me right where I am,” especially when we’re hurting. And He does—but we can’t forget that He also desires us to honor His presence and the place He’s built for it to reside.

I was praying over the house of God, and the Lord reminded me of Jacob and called this place “Bethl”—a dwelling where His Spirit is welcome. This message is for every believer who wants more than surface-level faith. It’s for those who long for the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit and understand that sacrifice, community, and legacy matter.

I speak from experience—from walking through trials, brain surgery, and prophetic moments that shaped my life. I’m grateful for the pastors and leaders who open their pulpits and homes for God’s move. In this message, I honor them and invite you to reflect on your own heart and your spiritual home.

If you’re hungry for more of Jesus, if you’re looking for a word in season, or if you’re asking why certain places feel like the presence of God dwells there, this message is for you.

Subscribe for more content that draws you closer to Jesus, and feel free to share this message with someone who needs a reminder that God is still moving in unexpected places.
